From the outside, we didn't expect much from the bright yellow older house set too far off the main road. (Across from the Casino) but upon entering we were amused to find the walls covered in all kinds of retro collections of salt and pepper shakers, plates, platters, clocks, spice jars, icecream scoops, frames and other iconic pieces from days gone by. With all this perfectly placed clutter youd expect some dust..but that was not the case. This place was immaculately clean.
As for the food. We were blown away. The pancakes were huge and light and fluffy and probably a 1/2 inch thick or more...and while a lot of places SAY they have buttermilk pancakes..this place really does. The eggs were perfect, the oatmeal was the slow cooked kind and came with a variety of mix-ins. Bacon was cooked to perfection and even the juice seemed to sing to us.
The waitress was very friendly and accommodating and efficient.
We paid $17 for the two of us and my husband ordered a LOT of food...while I just had the oatmeal and juice.
There was plenty of space to park and we got in and out in a very short amount of time..and again..the food was EXCELLENT.
